Yellowbottom Recreation Site is a well maintained BLM campground located within the Quartzville Creek Recreation area near Sweet Home Oregon.
The campground offers 22 first come-first served tent sites in an old growth forest along the beautiful Quartzville Creek. There is a nice modern pit toilet and there is a hand-pump well that is sometimes available for water. But we’ve always brought everything we need for the stay just in case. There is also a nice reading room and community fire area that the camp host often has a fire going. This campground ranks up there with any of the best small well laid out and designed forestry camps we’ve visited over the years.
