Three examples of Brainwave Entrainment audio files I’ve created over the years:
An overview of the making below…
As mentioned in prior posts related to Brain Wave Entrainment, I often incorporate use of a professional level BWE program called “Mind Work Station” by Transparent Corp. Most of the time I do post session editing and embellish and tweak things a bit < < it’s my artsy-fartsy side : )
Here is a screen shot of what a typical BWE session looks like behind the scenes in MWS before exporting as an mp3 audio file:

Another interesting thing about the MWS program is the ability to add audio tracks such as TC’s own “Thought Sounds” series. These are typically ~6 minute audio files that can be repeated seamlessly into a given track. Often there will be one or two variations on each theme. Before stumbling upon MWS several years ago I would simply fire up one of many synthesizers and get a rhythm going with a combination of filtered noise (for creating what is now called “Isochronic Tones”) and sometimes combining synced Binaural Beats from multiple Voltage Controlled Oscillators.
Since incorporating an iPad into my gadget drawer I’ve experimented with creating Iso tones by way of drum machine programs. This is an ongoing experiment with a side study of ancient and current cultures utilizing rhythm in rituals/ceremonies and also the rave and trance party scene.
On finding and trying out audio files for yourself? I’m saddened at the number of individuals peddling BWE audio files as a cure all. Some of the marketing pages/sites for various programs out there are so full of fluff. What I can say after 40 years of BWE experimenting (I began experimenting with this in 1976 before I knew what it was called) is that you will only get out of BWE what you put in to it in time (using the files on a frequent basis, several times a week) and technique (headphones are still an optimal way of listening, in a quiet personal space), even then, Your Mileage May Vary.
I’m known by a close circle of work acquaintances and friends of having, at times, way to much energy. One thing I’ve incorporated on a frequent basis is the use of my “Jolt” files during their work breaks. The Jolt serries are quick ~10 to 21 minute audio pick-me-up files I have loaded on my smartphone that can get me into an alert state beyond what a cup of coffee typically does…all with zero calories and no coffee breath 😉 < < That said, as with nearly all things and stated above; YMMV! This is why I enjoy making my files freely available to any who come this way. You just don’t know if this technology will work, or work to a level you hope, as all our brains/psychs react to stimuli a bit different. I’ve got files that can theoretically stimulate the brain into a similar state that one would find while taking various hallucinogens (a combination of high beta/gamma with a splash of theta waves). I have others i can listen to for a ~20 minute power nap and get up refreshed and ready for the afternoon. Some, like myself, may experience these moods. Others? Nothing. And that’s the point i’m trying to share, each of us can experience this technology on many different levels of effectiveness.
Bottom line? Before you go out and spend big bucks on BWE files keep the following in mind: 1) don’t expect miracles and don’t believe the hype! 2) Look for those stating the use of Isochronic Tones (effective with or without headphones, even pillow speakers) rather than Binaural Beats (only works with headphones).
At some point you may see a pay pal donation button at the site for those who’ve been blessed by what i’m sharing and would like to Pay-It-Forward…and there have been hundreds over the years.
I hope you are enjoying the rhythm of life, and if your “rhythm” needs some modifying…try some fun technology.
Enjoy the above Free Brainwave Entrainment audio. Remember to NEVER use BWE audio files while driving or operating equipment! An overview of the making below… I will be adding more free audio files on a near weekly basis which get listed on this site’s front page. Also, be sure to check out my other “Pinned” art over at my Pinterest Page!
Enjoy!
